It’s rare to have a DON working in the trenches with us. Thank you for what all you did for us. It did NOT go unnoticed & unappreciated. From buying staff burgers out of your own pocket, to pushing the housekeeping cart to ensure the facility was clean, to THEN doing the extras for the residents. My mom text to tell me Julie delivered hot chocolate and warm cookies to her! She loved that and I love Julie and her gang for the great care they give their residents.
Mom called said everything good, lots working cause they lost power at there home, take care
As you have all have seen, we have some inclement weather coming that will be in the path of the facility. We have been working endlessly for a week or so in preparation of this weekend, stocking our facility, and getting generators geared up for the freeze. During this time, we please ask for patience with our staff, as our priority will be to take care of our family of residents here, keeping them safe, and importantly, warm as we wait for it to pass.
Please note, there many be points where the phone system is down, and we are putting full throttle into trying to prevent any sort power outage, but we cannot guarantee the outcome with the temperatures and ice we are expecting. We will be updating families as much as we can to keep in loop with our safety protocols.
